For the past few days, the eyes of the entire country have been on the Hyderabad Hyderabad GHMC Election. Finally, the results of the Hyderabad municipal elections were published. Chandrasekhar Rao’s Telangana Rashtriya Samiti did not get majority in Hyderabad’s Corporation poll. Out of 150 wards, TRS got 55 seats. However, the post of mayor is in their hands. On the other hand, the great result is the BJP. They are in second place with 48 seats. In third place is Asaduddin Waisi’s All India Majlis Ittehadul Muslimin. Got 44 seats in this election. Congress got only 2. Chandrababu Naidu’s Telugu Desam party could not win a single seat. In the previous election, TRS had won 99 seats. And BJP in only 4. In 2020 BJP perform very well.
After the results, it tis seen that the vote of TRS has decreased by 40 percent. On the other hand, the BJP, which has been absent from the state for so long after winning the by-elections in Dubbaki assembly constituency, jumped into the fray with all its might.
Amit Shah, Yogi Adityanath, GP Nadda and other heavyweight BJP leaders and ministers came to the campaign. Issues like Jinnah, Pakistan, Bhagyanagar have been emphasized in the BJP’s campaign since this year’s pre-poll allegations of lack of citizens. According to TRS, the results were not as expected. The party got 20-25 less seats in this election. The margin of victory in 10-12 seats was less than 200 votes. According to Naddar, the possibility of a 2023 assembly vote in Hyderabad is clear. The departure of the corruption TRS government is inevitable.
